PrimeServ HR Solutions Youth Empowerment Programme
Companies sought for learnership opportunities The PMSA community are invited to support the development of critical skills in project management and project administration. Primeserv HR Solutions is currently running a Project Management programme to train and upskill unemployed youth and further empower people who have gained working experience in various industries. The aim is to equip the 80 identified candidates with knowledge and experience with which they can find gainful employment, and apply the skills they have gained in a productive way. For this reason. Primeserv HR Solutions is looking to identify companies that would be prepared to take on these candidates in learnerships, to assist them to complete their programme and gain relevant working experience. The programme covers the following seven modules, the first two of which have already been completed: • Team Participation • Communication 1st Language • Communication 2nd Language • Project Administration • Project Management • Mathematical Literacy • Supervise a small team These are, therefore, aspects that the candidates would be expected to engage in during their learnership – which concludes in March 2018 - while tremendous value lies in the additional exposure they could gain by working in a professional environment. It is intended that they will be allowed to experience first-hand the pressures associated with running an entire project as well as they joy that comes with successful completion of that project. Primeserv HR Solutions is registered with the Service SETA and affiliated to various other SETAs, and the programme is recognised on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF). Interested parties are requested to contact Anslin Freeman at: anslinf@primeserv.co.za to register their interest and for the full terms and conditions and timeframes. |
