An opportunity exists for companies to exhibit and / or promote their products and services for the duration of the congress. Exhibitions will be accommodated in areas of high traffic, such as where refreshments are served, to afford delegates and exhibitors the opportunity to interact.

WHO WOULD BENEFIT FROM SPONSORING / EXHIBITING

Sponsors and exhibitors are an intrinsic component of the PMSA congresses and conferences. The value of the opportunity is largely dependent on what the exhibitor / sponsor is prepared to put in, in terms of marketing their services, networking and otherwise participating in the event.

This is an ideal opportunity for providers of project management products and services as well as those who deliver projects to showcase the essence of their activities, attract new clients, employees, and otherwise promote themselves as thought leaders / employers of choice / innovators in the project management space.

PARTICIPATION OPPORTUNITIES

In the past, sponsors and exhibitors have found value in one or more of the following:

  • Presenting their goods and services by means of a ‘manned’ exhibit where company representatives engage with delegates on their range of offerings. Added value includes content that not only markets the exhibitor’s services but promotes their role as thought leaders / solution providers in a niche area of the industry. Delegates enjoy receiving practical information and resources that can assist them in their day-to-day work.
  • Participating as a key sponsor in order to have an opportunity to present in a session on the conference programme. This is not an opportunity to market a product or service per se, but to showcase inherent knowledge or insights of the sponsor organisation. This is also an ideal opportunity to share valuable lessons learned in specific project management themes.
  • Identifying a unique or creative way in which to entrench a product or service in the minds of the delegates. A vast array of opportunities exist, from clever give-aways to audio-visual presentations, quizzes, expert learning sessions etc. Most ideas can be negotiated with the conference organisers to tailor-make a sponsor opportunity.
