TOPIC: Project Failure and Success
A comprehensive answer to the question of which factors are critical to project success depends on answering four separate questions: ‘‘What factors lead to project management success?’’, ‘‘What factors lead to a successful project?’’ ‘‘What factors lead to consistently successful projects? and “Why do projects fail?”
Despite this increasing awareness of project management by organizations, projects still continue to fail.
The purpose of this presentation is to systematically investigate the causes of project failure and how these can be prevented, managed, or controlled.
