Big Picture Planning for Projects –
The First Crucial Step for Success

4 Hour Hands-on Project Management Workshop

The key to a successful project is that it is set up with a clear shared understanding of its objectives, complexity and boundaries. We call this the ‘BIG PROJECT PICTURE’. All too often parts of the project are already being planned in much detail or even worked on, before it is widely understood what the project is actually about – and without a clear grasp of the context within which the project is embedded.

This half-day workshop for project managers, project team members and all staff who are collaborating in projects will equip participants with simple and practical tools to define the bigger project picture and create the conditions needed for a positive project outcome.

Spend the morning with us and learn how to set up for a successful project:

  • Sharpen your understanding of a project
  • Receive an introduction to the power and processes of project management
  • Learn to follow a simple, practical step by step process for creating a shared Big Project Picture as a pre-requisite for successful project planning and execution
  • Leave with a first draft of the charter for your own project
  • Participate in a lively discussion and leverage on the lessons learned
  • Get to know practical tools for project planning: Take part in a hands-on exercises
  • Share experiences with other project managers
  • Network with your colleagues
