2)      Shovel Ready Developments i.e. Sibaya Node 1 and Node 5, Balance of Cornubia Retail Park

3)      Future / Pipeline Projects i.e. Cornubia Marshall Dam Housing, Cornubia Integrated Human Settlement Phase 2, Cornubia North, La Mercy Beach, Inyaninga, Ushukela Highway, Dudley Pringle Dam and Lindokuhle Housing

4)      The Aerotropolis Region opportunities and the Northern Region Plan of Hope

PRESENTER:   Bheki Shongwe

Bheki Shongwe is Planning Executive at Tongaat Hulett Developments. His main responsibility is to assess, implement, co-ordinate as well as manage the physical planning, land use and infrastructure development, thus enhancing the company’s land asset values.  He is  also heavily involved in participating and influencing the Integrated Development Planning, Land Use Management, Spatial Planning, Local Economic Development and Environmental Management initiatives, policies and legislations within the different municipalities where the company have land holdings and business interest by aligning the company’s vision to that of the respective municipalities and the other respective spheres of government. 

His academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Education (undergraduate and Post-Graduate) as well as Master of Town and Regional Planning all from the (University of Natal), Management Development Programme and Executive Development Programme all from the (Graduate School of Business Unisa) and Postgraduate Diploma in Leadership (Current) with University of Stellenbosch Business School.
