Brenda Eckstein, an experienced speaker and trainer has presented to a wide range of audiences on five continents. Training topics include strategy, leadership development, verbal and written communication, customer service, presentation skills, networking and effective delegation.
Brenda mentors for the University of Cape Town’s Graduate School of Business, Centre for Coaching through which she has the Professional Coaching certification. This incorporates a New Ventures West (USA) qualification, too.
Brenda is the author of two published books, ‘Networking Tactics’ and the ‘ABCs of Effective Networking’ and writes articles and blogs regularly. Five e-books are being published during 2014.
Through PRISA (the Public Relations Institute of South Africa), Brenda is accredited as a Chartered Public Relations Practitioner. She also has ‘Professional Member’ accreditation status with the NSAA (National Speakers Association of Australia) where she is currently a member of the New South Wales chapter. Through the Australian Qualifications framework Brenda has fulfilled the requirements for a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. Brenda is also a Services SETA Registered Assessor.
Leadership roles have included being the first woman to be President of the Pietermaritzburg Chamber of Commerce and Industries and International President of International Training in Communication, a world-wide organization providing leadership development, communication and organisational skills and business meeting procedure. Brenda is an Honorary Member of the Pietermaritzburg Chamber of Business.
