PMSA Western Cape invites you to a presentation by Louise Worsely, titled: You can’t create stakeholders but you can engage them ... to varying  degrees of success on Tuesday 11th June 2013.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Louise is an experienced consultant, with fifteen years in a senior management role in the consultancy and education fields.  She advises clients on the set up of career frameworks and development programmes to support the strategic development of project management capability.

Louise works at both the strategic and project delivery levels.  Her particular strength is identifying the critical environmental, personnel and delivery success factors that must be addressed to achieve the objectives of the project or change programme she has been asked to support.

A skilled presenter and facilitator of workshops she is often involved in shaping and directing complex programme start ups and project initiation workshops – some involving tens of major stakeholders and occasionally structuring benefits and risk workshops involving large groups (100+ participants.

Louise has been a tutor, previously for CITI for over fifteen years and is a visiting lecturer at the University of Cape Town where she is a member of the MSc in Project Management steering committee.  She is a mentor to MSc students in the management of major projects and a regular contributor to The Project Manager – the leading project management magazine in South Africa.

BSc (Hons) Psychology, St Andrews University
Postgraduate Certificate: Assessment & Psychometrics
Visiting lecturer in Project Management, University of Cape Town

This breakfast workshop draws upon practices in social and community engagement and explores, using real scenarios, how insights from these most sensitive of stakeholder projects can be applied in the business environment.

Be prepared to discuss and share your experiences.  This is a share and learn session facilitated by Louise Worsley, PiCubed.
