ABOUT THE PRESENTATION
People Management was described by Jim Collins as “Getting the right people on the bus and getting the right people on the right seats on the bus…” (Good to Great). This translates to placing Project Managers in the right environment where Hatching = Getting the Right People on the Bus in the right seats.
This presentation will focus on the importance of ensuring the right project manager is hatched into the right environment and is thus able to excel as a complete project manager where technical skills and character traits are closely aligned to company requirements and culture.
The presentation will combine industry research findings that include results of a host of qualitative interviews conducted with clients of a top niche project management recruitment and consulting house, requesting insights into required top skills for PMs.
Case studies will reflect examples of where the consulting house has made use of tools and methodologies to place the complete PM in the most appropriate environment.
