The Technology User Group is a special interest group that plans to meet periodically to look at the influence of technology in projects, and serves as an environment for discussing ideas, challenges and trends.
This session features the Transnet Research and Development Process Improvement team and their Proof of Concept project initiated in 2016 to analyse, evaluate, design and implement a Project Management solution to address a variety of project-related challenges. Nicolette Ashburner is a manager within the Research and Development department at Transnet Engineering, and her focus is mainly on tactical strategy and process improvement. In this session Nicolette will share how they overcame these challenges, and how they embraced the principles of industry 4.0, using technology to support their processes and enhance collaboration. |
