We are excited to share the news of an upcoming series of stakeholder engagement sessions centred around the discretionary grant window and application process.

As a statutory body established in terms of the Skills Development Act, 1998 (Act 97 of 1998), we invite eligible stakeholders and entities that fall within the services sector to apply for discretionary grant funding for Professional, Vocational, Technical and Academic Learning (PIVOTAL) and Strategic Programmes. This grant is aimed at addressing the national priorities as projected in the National Skills Development Plan (NSDP) 2030 and the sector needs as set out in the Sector Skills Plan (SSP).

Given the extensive qualifying requirements and application process, we have scheduled a nationwide roadshow, dealing with discretionary grants, ensuring we guide you through the process.

In-Person Event: Kindly note that registrations for the discretionary grants roadshow are hybrid sessions.
