Dear valued stakeholder, We are excited to share the news of an upcoming series of stakeholder engagement sessions centred around the discretionary grant window and application process. As a statutory body established in terms of the Skills Development Act, 1998 (Act 97 of 1998), we invite eligible stakeholders and entities that fall within the services sector to apply for discretionary grant funding for Professional, Vocational, Technical and Academic Learning (PIVOTAL) and Strategic Programmes. This grant is aimed at addressing the national priorities as projected in the National Skills Development Plan (NSDP) 2030 and the sector needs as set out in the Sector Skills Plan (SSP). Detailed specifications and requirements are available on the Services SETA website www.serviceseta.org.zaor directly on the DG applications portal: https://dgportal.servicesseta.org.za/dg_portal/ Given the extensive qualifying requirements and application process, we have scheduled a nationwide roadshow, dealing with discretionary grants, ensuring we guide you through the process. We look forward to meeting you, kindly see the physical workshop details for your region and registration links below. Here are some essential details to keep in mind: Early Birds Welcome: For those eager to maximize their experience, we encourage you to arrive a bit early. Our team will be available to interact with you, answering any questions or queries. In-Person Event: Kindly note that registrations for the discretionary grants roadshow are hybrid sessions. It is highly recommended you attend in person as we are eager to engage with you face-to-face, allowing for dynamic interactions and personalised discussions. If you haven’t already registered for one of the sessions, kindly register for your desired region in the table above. Kind Regards, Services SETA |
