Kindly note that the Services SETA is in a process
of collaborating with TVET Colleges for purposes of delivering of
Services SETA Learning Programmes, including the Occupational
Qualifications. This will also yield into TVET College capacitation.
We would like to find out if your organization
would be interested in participating from the workplace perspective
which is hosting of learners for the duration of the Project Manager
programme. Please indicate the appetite that your organization will
have in hosting these learners at a minimum and maximum level, also
considering the availability of coaches and mentors for the learners.
The Services Sector Education and
Training Authority (Services SETA) was established and registered in
March 2000 in terms of the skills development Act of 1998 and is
responsible for the disbursement of the training levies payable by
all employers. These levies are collected by the South African
Revenue Service (SARS) via the Department of Higher Education and
Training (DHET), and are to be disbursed through a management system
motivated by skills requirement assessment and monitoring.
