PROGRAMME

The public and private sectors are increasingly delivering on their mandate and strategic objectives through projects. It’s an exciting time for project managers as notable transformation and infrastructure projects roll out across the country and the continent.

On the 18^th and 19^th April 2016 the PMSA KwaZulu Natal Regional Conference celebrates the wealth of knowledge South Africa has in successfully delivering projects. This event offers an opportunity to learn from that success, exposing delegates to thought leadership, best practices, case studies and insight into projects that are shaping the region.

Exploring the theme ‘Project Managing your Success’ the PMSA KwaZulu Natal Regional conference draws on the knowledge and experience of a number of key role-players on notable projects. To this end, the programme will also feature insights into project management imperatives in the delivery of the harbour tunnel, infrastructure development undertaken by SANRAL to boost the regional economy, and strategic projects delivered by the Department of Economic Development, Tourism, & Environmental Affairs (KZN) that promise to energise tourism in the region. 

The art and science of project management will also receive attention, through insights into realising benefits through project investment and capturing lessons learned towards greater project success. A field trip to a notable project site will round out the programme and afford time for networking and interaction.

LOCATION & ACCOMODATION

Durban Country Club is situated in the city of Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. The Club is located only minutes from the city centre, less than 1 kilometre north of Durban’s ‘golden mile’ beachfront. The Club overlooks the iconic Moses Mabhida Stadium, built for the 2010 Fifa World Cup, and offers breathtaking views of the Blue Lagoon estuary and sparkling Indian Ocean.
