Grow the Economy: Leadership, Strategic and Business Management, and Technical Project Management as Contributors to Economic Growth

Each industry sector in South Africa seeks to foster competitiveness and contribute to economic growth through the strategic projects that are undertaken. Project management as a profession and competency area is manifesting as an enabler in more industries than ever before, resulting in a deepening and broadening of the body of knowledge.

In November 2015, PMSA's Western Cape Region celebrates the project management profession by highlighting the application of project management in 'traditional' industries such as infrastructure development and ICT, and 'new' industries such as film and major event management.
