ABOUT THE SPEAKERS

Doug Johnson, CEO of Lemon Leadership

‘Maximising your project team capabilities & leveraging all project stakeholders’

Lemon Leadership (www.lemonleadership.co.za) is a consultancy that is responsible for helping project teams to understand and have insights in the diversity and strength of each team member involved in a project. Lemon typically assists teams to understand who their team members really are and how their identities affects the way they lead, communicate and handle conflict. Lemon helps project teams to gain an appreciation of each other’s dynamics and how it will affect a project on an individual, team and organisational level. In a typical presentation at an event like this he will be touching on leadership and personality styles and how it can affect job performance and project success and understanding the relationships between the project team members and different personality types.

Guy Jelley, CEO of Project Portfolio Office (PPO)

Guy will take this topic further and present case studies from our existing client base on how organisations have maximised engagement and stakeholder management using a tool like PPO.

PPO (www.projectportfoliooffice.com) is the number one locally developed online project portfolio management (PPM) and collaboration application available in the market in South Africa. PPO have worked with numerous companies including the likes of Old Mutual, Pick n Pay, Woolworths, PWC, FNB, Deloitte, Anglo American, UTI and SABMiller to name a few. Guy Jelley, one of the founders of PPO, is going to present how these types of companies have leveraged stakeholder involvement and engagement in their project and portfolio management methodologies and PPM tools to ensure great team success and thus greater project success.
