ABOUT THE TALK

In this talk Linky van der Merwe looks at ways to use social media platforms on projects for enhancement of the project management profession. Linky looks closely at social media platforms, recommended best practices and benefits and challenges of using these social media tools.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Linky vd Merwe is a certified project management professional (PMP) since 2006, with 15 years project management experience and a fine track record of successful delivery on IT projects. Systems and Vodacom (Telecommunications) and is currently a senior project manager at Microsoft Consulting Services South Africa.

As the Founder of Virtual Project Consulting, her mission is to provide project management best practices and to recommend resources to aspiring and existing project managers. Linky is passionate about project management as a profession and enjoys sharing her appreciation and value for social media as a tool for project management practitioners.
