ABOUT THE EVENT
Introducing TAP:
TAP is a structured instant-message communicator specially designed for projects.
TAP is an app for the execution of projects rather than the planning of projects. It is built on the practical idea that project momentum and efficiency is unlocked through managed conversations, that provoke ‘the right people to do the right thing at the right time’.
TAP achieves this by combining structure and conversation fluidity together in an app that:
1) puts the project conversations into a dedicated space,
2) makes the project manager accountable for managing project conversations,
3) enables clear topic based instant-message conversations, and
4) backs up project conversation records to the organisation’s emails database.
TAP is in beta phase following a three year development phase. Going forward, the plan to engage the market before completing the app and taking it to market.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Jonathan Rens spent his first 10 working years as a professional Quantity Surveyor in Cape Town and East London. After a few years working for a private property developer, he was one of the founding executive directors of the Acucap Properties Limited, which listed on the JSE in March 2002, and then grew exponentially until it was bought by Growthpoint Properties Limited in 2015. Since then, Jonathan has continued his involvement in a number of retail properties, but have expanded his interests into IT, Roof Solar and in the development of an integrated decision making methodology for organisations called Katanoe. In different ways, these represent his passions.
