ABOUT THE EVENT
In the past 4 years James Cook has played key project management roles in delivering the infrastructure for the Cape Epic staged mountain bike race. He will share his experiences of delivering the connectivity solution. Imagine having only 2 days to implement a “pop-up” broadband connectivity infrastructure for fully functioning “race villages” in multiple remote locations for the “Tour de France of mountain biking”, the Absa Cape Epic race. With so much at stake, and no room for failure, the pressure is high and the responsibility immense…
ABOUT THE SPEAKER
James has over 20 years experience in project management. He is currently employed by Dimension Data where he manages global ICT projects. When James is not project managing, he likes to drive his motorcycle on adventures. He has just completed a 15 500km solo trip through Africa.
