ABOUT THE EVENT

The first prompt leading to this belief came while Mayhew was commissioned by a large financial institution to help them re-align and re-focus their Agile delivery framework. The assignment started with a long and concise list of “Agile challenges”, that actually had nothing to do with Agile." 

Mayhew will talk, through experience, why some Agile deliveries fail so spectacularly. ABOUT THE SPEAKER


Mayhew Olivier is an Agile Coach, Agile Transformation Specialist & Project Management Professional

He is an avid Agile enthusiast, evangelist and practitioner. He has vast experience in Agile delivery and transformation. He believes in Servant Leadership as the way to lead change and create a culture of empowered, collaborative, high performing teams.

Mayhew has the ability to work across the roles of facilitator, consultant and coach to senior management, delivery teams and individuals. He embodies a combination of exceptional interpersonal skill with deep-rooted empathy, which allows him to manage complex situations with real insight and proficiency.

Mayhew has extensive experience as a project management professional, covering all aspects of the software development life cycle, over a broad spectrum of industries, both in South Africa and internationally.
