TOPIC:   Business Cases - Compass or Curse?

Chasing project deadlines, navigating complex business challenges and burning the midnight oil to solve new problems are the norm for most project managers. Project management and delivery is tough, we know that, but all too often we see project decisions being made without reference to the business justification and reasons for continued investment. We take a look at why the Business Case is so important in any project and why not having one to navigate your ship can leave you in open water without a landmark in sight. We will also cover how to use the business case as a tool to ensure that the project remains justified and that business objectives and benefits being sought can be realised throughout the project life cycle.
