Harnessing the Power of Innovation: As Africa, for Africa

In every industrial revolution, there are compelling reasons why innovation has had a distinct pivotal role in increasing global competitiveness and transforming global markets for the better. In today’s industrial revolution, led by large dominance of technologies within digital networking, Artificial Intelligence, Additive Manufacturing, Internet of Things and Robotics; the role of innovation has become explicitly important for any organisation with a vision to make an impact in the global market.

Despite countries around the world noticing the positive benefit of innovation in its economies; South Africa remains a country that is more likely to consume innovation from North America, parts of Europe and Asia, than it is to innovate. For us to enter the stage of being innovation-driven economy, we need to begin developing our own innovations, influencing innovation entrepreneurship and developing strategies on how to manage innovative projects.

PMSA is delighted to be featuring Nneile Nkholise at our upcoming national conference, who will tackle this relevant and engaging topic from the perspective of both innovator and project manager. Nneile Nkholise is the co-founder of Likoebe Group; an umbrella company of iMed Tech which is a medical innovation company focused on medical prosthesis manufacturing using Additive Manufacturing, and Likoebe Innovation consultants that offer innovative ideas for companies that want to disrupt markets.

Nneile Nkholise is a mechanical engineering technologist, with experience in working in the mechanical engineering consulting industry and the construction industry.
